'72 Ducati 750 Super Sport Desmodromic. (and stable mates)

All bikes are from the Ian Falloon Collection. For the 750SS Lightfoot wheels supplied polished alloy rims, silver painted spokes with zinc plated nipples. Polished and satin bead blasted hubs.

Ducati wheels can be interesting, depending on what the owner wants? Most of the Ducati wheels I restore have polished and bead blasted hubs, polished alloy rims and polished stainless steel spokes. The result is immaculate. I will go a step further and present the wheels “as per factory finish”. This involves toning the polish alloy down, using butted spokes and then painting the spokes in a sliver/grey finish with zinc plated nipples. It’s pretty close to how they left the factory and certainly gives a feel of correctness.
